I am both heartbroken and disgusted that I wasted years in subscription costs and trusted my personal data to this company. I spent the whole evening troubleshooting how i could fix this and the next day contacting data restoration techs in a futile attempt to save my data and I would have gladly paid them whatever price that they would have quoted. Not having that option for mobile phones is an utter failure on the developers part.

If this had happened on a PC then one could possibly recover data by utilizing the "quarantine" file. Hundreds of pictures that reflected my skill set in my career which would have been important to have if I ever wanted to get a better paying job in the future. Like learning to say certain words or her ballet recital. Failing to back them up was my fault I admit that but, I had videos and pictures of important moments with my daughter. If the AVG app sees 800+photos and videos as garbage and has no method to recover them, then the app is flawed beyond description.
